Illustrators Timba Smits and ‘Flash’ Gordon Shaw came up with the idea of getting various fellow illustrators and designers to create some alternative sleeves for classic films all in the name of charity (Art Against Knives and Macmillan Cancer Support).

They got over 200 responses and sold the covers after a week long exhibition at the 71a hosted exhibition.

I was delighted to be involved and even more delighted to get such a lovely response to my cover. It appeared on the Guardian websiteIt’s Nice That and Time Out in their articles about the exhibition.

I was also rather pleased that it sold so sent a follow up thank you card to the buyer.
